Brittany Wilhelm represents clients in high-stakes investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission. She has experience defending corporations and their directors and officers against alleged violations of state and federal laws, including insider trading, accounting irregularities, health care fraud, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the False Claims Act (FCA), and other business-related wrongdoing. Brittany is also experienced in conducting internal investigations into allegations of misconduct. She frequently counsels clients on compliance-related issues, including federal securities laws and the FCPA, to avoid government investigations and enforcement actions.
In addition, Brittany represents corporate clients in complex civil and criminal litigation in state and federal courts. She has experience in various aspects of pretrial and trial procedures, including discovery, motion practice, witness preparation, and depositions.
Brittany maintains an active pro bono practice and volunteers as a high school speech and debate coach. She represents Jones Day on the Leadership Council of Engage! Cleveland, a community organization for young professionals and business leaders.
