Anjuli Theresa focuses on domestic and cross-border M&A projects as well as private equity and venture capital transactions in the German and international market. She has extensive experience in advising strategic investors, private equity houses, and their portfolio companies on a range of matters, including mergers, acquisitions, buyouts, and joint ventures, and in advising on venture capital financing rounds and corporate housekeeping matters of venture capital fund portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Anjuli Theresa practiced at an international firm where she advised financial sponsors and corporate clients in private equity transactions. Anjuli Theresa holds an LL.M. from King's College London where she focused on the law of private equity and venture capital finance and corporate law matters. She also gained experience in M&A and venture capital transactions for funds and venture capital companies while working at international law firms in Berlin, London, and New York City during her legal studies and clerkship.
Anjuli Theresa is a member and editor of "breaking.through" a feminist lawyers' association in Germany that aims to make successful female lawyers more visible and to make choosing a legal career more attractive to women and girls.
