Dominic Sze is a securities and banking and finance lawyer with more than 17 years of extensive experience focused primarily on credit and debt capital market work, including primary issuances of securities, and their related liability management arrangements and compliance. He is also experienced in loan matters and in equity capital market, structured finance, and debt restructuring transactions.
Dominic has advised numerous clients in secured and unsecured debt offerings, including without limitation, high yield and unrated debts, investment-grade debts, convertible and exchangeable securities, perpetual securities, dim sum bonds, green bonds, structured notes, and privately issued instruments. He also has substantial experience in assisting issuers of such securities with liability management issues, including conducting tender offers, exchange offers, and consent solicitations. In addition, Dominic has assisted clients undergoing debt restructurings with the negotiation of terms for restructured securities. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Dominic practiced at another international law firm where he represented clients, with a focus in the PRC property sector, in more than 250 debt transactions.
Dominic is dually qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong and in New South Wales, Australia.
