Tessa Richardson advises clients in the energy transition, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors in a range of M&A and fundraising transactions.
Tessa's practice includes UK and international M&A, equity investment/fundraising, joint ventures, and reorganizations in the energy transition and infrastructure sectors, with experience in a range of clean energy technologies, including solar, wind (offshore and onshore), energy-to-waste projects, and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure.
Tessa's recent experience includes advising Macquarie Asset Management in its acquisition of a further 50% equity stake in London City Airport. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Tessa advised Circtec Limited on its €75 million Series A equity fundraising to fund the construction of its pioneering tyre pyrolysis plant in the Netherlands for the production of sustainable drop-in fuels and circular chemicals. She also advised Connected Kerb Limited in connection with its £55 million fundraising from National Wealth Fund to fund its EV infrastructure rollout activities in the United Kingdom (together with an additional £10 million from its existing investor, Aviva Investors).
