Sheila Marie Orfano represents employers in a variety of labor and employment matters. Her experience includes defending employers in claims arising under Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and analogous state laws. She also has experience advising clients on diversity, equity, and inclusion employment and contracting issues and compliance with New York State and New York City labor and employment laws.
Sheila maintains an active pro bono practice. She represents unaccompanied minors seeking asylum and special immigrant juvenile status as well as detained immigrants in habeas corpus proceedings.
