Ricardo Oliveira is a finance lawyer with a focus on real estate finance and leveraged finance transactions. He advises clients on domestic and cross-border acquisition finance, investment facilities, development facilities, and general banking matters.
Ricardo has experience representing leading private credit funds, private equity firms, corporate borrowers, and banks on senior/mezzanine financing transactions, holding company (holdco) financing structures, and syndicated transactions.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2024, Ricardo was a senior associate in the London office of a major international law firm. He also served a secondment to the private credit team at Legal & General Investment Manager and worked in-house at an AI start-up, where he was chief operating officer and general counsel.
