Frederic Oest advises on financing, with a focus on real estate and project financing, banking law, as well as on the security asset capacity of financial products.
Frederic has advised national and international clients on real estate, project and acquisition financing, and financial restructurings often involving significant loan amounts. In the context of financings including syndicated financings (senior and mezzanine), Frederic acts on the lender and borrower sides and advises credit institutions, fund managers, asset managers, and real estate investors. He has experience advising on financings of real estate portfolios (particularly involving the hospitality and logistics sectors), project financings (particularly for wind farms), and acquisition financings around the world, some of which have a multibillion dollar/euro loan volume.
Frederic has also advised a leading business-to-business (B2B) direct bank on the acquisition of all securities accounts of a German bank.
He has completed several foreign assignments in the course of his legal career, most recently serving a secondment in Jones Day's London Office.
Handelsblatt (Best Lawyers) has repeatedly named Frederic as a lawyer of the future: "Ones to Watch."
