Elizabeth Oberholzer advises corporate and private equity clients on complex cross-border M&A deals, particularly in the industrial, technology, and life sciences sectors. She has extensive experience in inbound and outbound U.S./Continental Europe transactions and has handled a range of multibillion dollar transactions.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Elizabeth was a partner at another leading international law firm, where her matters included the following: the worldwide carve-out and spin-off of the health care business of a global manufacturer of consumer and industrial goods, at the time of the spin-off, the newly formed company had an enterprise value of approximately $8.2 billion; the global separation of an international automotive supplier's fuel systems and aftermarket businesses, encompassing an estimated $3.3 billion in combined sales, followed by a spin-off into a publicly traded company; the merger of two hearing aid companies, creating a global leader in hearing aids with a combined enterprise value of €7 billion; and the sale by a private equity firm of its stake in the world's leading supplier of sports and betting-related data to a consortium valued at €2.1 billion.
