Abby Oakland represents clients in high-stakes civil disputes in state and federal courts and arbitrations. Abby has represented clients in a broad range of matters, including claims involving professional liability, business torts, contract disputes, and antitrust actions.

Abby has represented clients in the financial services, health care, medical device, and retail industries. She is experienced in all aspects of complex litigation, including fact investigation, offensive and defensive discovery, expert witnesses, motions practice, and trial. Abby brings a particular focus to analyzing complex legal issues and preparing arguments and briefing at the trial and appellate levels.

As part of her active pro bono practice, Abby has represented clients in state family law matters, federal immigration proceedings, and federal criminal trial court proceedings and appeals.

Following law school, Abby served as a judicial law clerk for Judge David S. Doty of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and Judge Julia S. Gibbons of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
