Kristin Morrison is a dedicated trial lawyer who handles complex commercial litigation matters from start to finish. She counsels business clients before and after litigation arises on wide-ranging issues involving material transactions, commercial contract interpretation, consumer protection statutes, fraud, and financial services, among others.

Kristin concentrates her practice in high-stakes disputes, bringing and defending claims related to complicated contract and transaction-related issues, as well as business torts, consumer fraud, and state and federal statutes regulating business conduct and competition, including pre-suit investigations in each of these areas. She has handled all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts across the country, as well as arbitration proceedings, including experience representing and trying cases for both plaintiffs and defendants.

Kristin represents such clients as Cleveland-Cliffs, Owens Corning, Macy's, J.M. Smucker, and KeyBank in significant litigation involving customers and competitors. Her extensive commercial litigation experience includes Macy's 2013 trial against JCPenney and Martha Stewart in New York, a 2016 trial in federal court in Ohio involving unfair competition claims, multidistrict litigation for a national retail pharmacy with bellwether trials in federal court in Ohio in 2021 and 2022, consumer fraud class actions in New York, commercial disputes in Delaware, and adversary proceedings in federal bankruptcy courts.

Kristin is on the board of directors for Positive Education Program (PEP) and for Summer On The Cuyahoga. She is active in the Firm's pro bono initiatives, including the Border Project and Human Trafficking initiatives, and in the Cleveland Office's summer associates program and women's affinity group.
