Lauren Lutton, a trial lawyer with experience working on more than 10 jury trial teams, defends companies in product liability lawsuits and commercial litigation.
Lauren has been involved in Jones Day's nationwide defense of smoking and health lawsuits brought against R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. In addition to arguing motions to the court and taking depositions, Lauren has coordinated strategy within joint defense groups and has managed cases from the date of filing, through discovery, and up to trial. She also has experience in the many other aspects of complex commercial litigation, including conducting legal research, drafting motions and response briefs, and post-trial briefing.
Additionally, Lauren is involved in the representation of pro bono clients through Jones Day's partnership with the Georgia Justice Project. Lauren is a member of the Clarke-Carley Inn of Court as a barrister. She is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia School of Law. Before attending law school, Lauren taught for two years in Nashville, Tennessee through Teach For America.
