Quinn Hironaka's practice focuses on technically sophisticated construction and engineering disputes and litigation concerning major infrastructure projects. She has represented principals and contractors on projects involving sewage treatment plants, solar farms, highway infrastructure, and residential high-rise buildings.
She acts for clients in complex litigation in the Supreme Court of Queensland in disputes involving alleged defective works and design, variations, and termination issues, as well as misleading conduct claims. Quinn also has extensive experience in payment disputes under security of payment legislation, including acting for respondents and appellants in Court of Appeal proceedings related to jurisdictional errors identified in adjudication decisions.
Before joining Jones Day in 2026, Quinn worked in a construction litigation practice at a large national Australian firm. She is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the National Women in Construction Law.
