Pat Hall focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. He has experience in a wide variety of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, consumer class actions, cybersecurity and data privacy claims, government investigations, construction disputes, and complex and mass tort claims. Pat is experienced in several aspects of litigation, including depositions, written discovery, pretrial motion practice, and trial.

Pat's recent matters include defending a major retailer in multiple cases brought by states, municipalities, and private entities alleging that the distribution and sale of prescription opioids constitutes a public nuisance, including recently serving on a trial team defending the retailer in state court, as well as defending a public owner in a major public works contract dispute.

Pat also has defended numerous individual actions, in court and arbitration, asserting claims under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA), Wiretap Act, California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and other constitutional, statutory, and common law privacy doctrines.

Pat is a member of the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, formerly serving as the editor of the ABTL Report.
