Jade Hazan's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including shareholder and corporate disputes and regulatory and enforcement proceedings.
Jade's interdisciplinary academic background informs her analytical and client-focused approach to litigation. She has acted for major corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies in high-stakes disputes before various Australian courts and tribunals, including the High Court of Australia and the Administrative Review Tribunal. Her practice covers all phases of dispute resolution, from prelitigation advisory work through to trial, appellate proceedings, and mediation.
Jade has assisted on significant matters involving Australia's leading technology, retail, banking, and asset management companies. She has experience advising on consumer and competition law enforcement proceedings, privacy and data protection disputes, corporate insolvency, and appeals involving complex questions of intellectual property and corporate law. Jade also has an interest in corporate governance and directors' duties. Her article, "Developing a Sector-based Framework for Mandatory Director Financial Literacy Training in Australia," was published in the Company and Securities Law Journal in 2025.
