Chris Hunchuck focuses his practice on litigating and resolving complex commercial disputes, including class actions, derivative lawsuits, and alleged public nuisances. He has experience assisting clients with legal analysis and research, fact investigations, discovery matters, and motions practice.
Chris has assisted clients in a variety of industries defend against civil and criminal investigations brought by the Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and state attorneys general. Using his experience with electronic signature and remote notarization laws, he has helped clients in developing electronic signature platforms and successfully navigate the work from home landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, Chris has worked on complex bankruptcy and insurance matters.
On pro bono matters, Chris has represented asylum seekers through Jones Day's Laredo Project. He also participates in the Pro Se Pro Bono ADR Program in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
