Joshua Gold-Quirós advises global and national clients on all aspects of trademark and copyright protection and enforcement.
Clients across a broad range of industries — including sports and entertainment, consumer goods, commercial real estate, clothing and apparel, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals — rely on Josh for day-to-day counsel on trademark selection, clearance, registration, maintenance, and enforcement. He manages high-profile international trademark and domain name portfolios and works closely with foreign counsel in more than 100 countries worldwide. Josh also advises on trademark, copyright, and domain name due diligence and risk assessment in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
Josh has particular experience resolving online trademark and copyright infringement and successfully pursuing and defending domain name arbitration actions before the World Intellectual Property Organization under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy. He represents clients in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and assists in trademark, copyright, false advertising, and unfair competition litigation in federal courts across the country
Josh is actively involved in the intellectual property community, serving on the International Trademark Association's Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee and the Trademark Committee of the State Bar of Texas.
