Fabio Maria Guidi's practice focuses on structured finance, securitizations, debt capital market transactions, and banking and finance matters.
Fabio has more than 18 years of experience in securitizations and complex structured finance transactions. He advises leading international and Italian investment banks, financial institutions, and investors on domestic and multijurisdictional transactions involving sophisticated and innovative structures.
Fabio has significant experience in market-first transactions, including sub-participation securitizations, inventory and warehouse financings, project finance securitizations, and tailor-made funding solutions across a broad range of asset classes, including RMBS (residential mortgage-backed securities) loans, SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprise) loans, consumer and salary-backed loans (CQS), trade receivables, NPLs (nonperforming loans), UTPs (unlikely to pay), real estate assets securitizations, and tax claims deals. In 2023, he coordinated the team advising the arranger and the senior investor on the first two inventory financing securitizations completed in Italy.
Fabio also advises on the regulatory aspects of securitization transactions, including innovative retention methods and structuring solutions addressing evolving regulatory and market requirements, as well as on litigation and prelitigation matters relating to securitizations and financing transactions.
