Hannah Esquenazi advises and represents financial institutions in litigation matters, with a particular focus on advising clients on evolving legal and regulatory risks and navigating disputes related to complex commercial financial transactions and consumer financial products. She has experience representing and advising clients in structured finance transactions, and more specifically asset-backed securities, including securities backed by residential mortgage loans and private student loans.
Hannah's in-house experience includes a secondment at U.S. Bank in 2022, where she gained experience advising on regulatory matters across a variety of commercial products.
Hannah is committed to Jones Day's pro bono practice, representing women and minors seeking asylum. Hannah similarly partners with local organization, Discovering Justice, to teach middle school students mock trial and moot court techniques.
Hannah proudly serves as chair of the Hispanic National Bar Association's (HNBA) Special Committee for Community Outreach and Pro Bono Services. She also serves on the HNBA Region I Board of Directors as a deputy regional president and as a commissioner on the HNBA Latina Commission.
