Ross D'lima advises on a wide range of corporate transactions covering early-stage venture capital, growth capital, CVC (corporate venture capital), M&A and venture-backed exits, and joint ventures. Ross has advised at all stages of the company life cycle, from pre-seed up to exit, advising both investors and companies. Ross advises a wide range of clients within the tech and life sciences sectors and is part of the Jones Day fintech team comprised of more than 175 lawyers globally.
Transactions in which Ross has been the lead include: advising Raine via its growth equity fund on the Series C financing of Midnite; advising Eli Lilly in the £90m financing of Myricx; advising Elaia Partners on its investment in the Series B funding round of Doccla; representing Quadrille in its participation in the $500 million Series E financing of Jobandtalent; advising Shopify on its investment in the $100 million Series C financing of Codat; representing early-stage venture capital fund Passion Capital on the sale of automotive data insights platform Cazana to Cazoo; advising a global investment manager on the £580m funding round of SumUp; advising Deezer on its Series A and Series B financing of Driift; and advising Meriuex Equity Partners, Illumina Ventures, and Heran Partners on their $15m Series A financing of Broken String Biosciences.
