Oren Depp represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters in state and federal courts, including antitrust, consumer credit reporting, negligence, and veil piercing actions.
Oren's antitrust experience includes defending clients in the pharmaceutical industry against state and federal price-fixing and monopolization claims. He has experience in offensive and defensive discovery, helping to negotiate cost-effective discovery outcomes in ESI (electronically stored information) disputes, briefing motions to compel, and assisting with discovery strategy.
Oren has also accumulated extensive litigation experience while serving as lead counsel for a major consumer reporting agency in Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) cases. He has managed cases across the nation from start to finish, including drafting and responding to written discovery, taking and defending several depositions of fact and expert witnesses, leading teams on dispositive motion briefing, negotiating high-exposure settlements, arbitrating disputes, and running defense in class actions. Among other dispositive orders, Oren's briefing has resulted in several strategic judgments on the merits for recurring bankruptcy-related FCRA claims.
Oren also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing tenants in eviction defense matters and prisoners in § 1983 lawsuits for violations of their constitutional rights.
