Nick Dunstone has extensive experience leading complex cross-border restructuring situations across Asia and Europe. Nick's practice focuses on financial restructurings and distressed debt investments for a broad range of international clients, including substantial experience advising funds on creditor steering committees in contentious and noncontentious situations.
Nick's distinguished career includes 15 years as a restructuring lawyer and 11 years as an investment professional at a credit fund, Asia Research & Capital Management (ARCM), where he played a leading role in private and public credit situations, including primary lending, special situations, and distressed debt/restructuring situations across Asia and globally, with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure investments. Nick has worked in London, New York, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Singapore.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Nick served as counsel to bondholders and lender groups in cross-border restructurings related to data centers, telecommunications, oil & gas, shipping groups, retail, property, casinos, dairy producers, nickel mines, industrials, rare earths producers, coal power and coal mining, nuclear power, and road infrastructure.
