Dennis Cukurov advises on the competition and regulatory aspects of complex transactions and business operations across Europe. His practice focuses on antitrust, merger control, foreign investment, the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR), and state aid, including competitive assessments and the coordination of multijurisdictional filings and reviews before authorities worldwide. His practice also encompasses cartel and abuse of dominance matters, regulatory investigations, and compliance initiatives, covering the development and implementation of tailored policies, handbooks, and training programs.
Dennis represents strategic investors, private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, as well as manufacturers and distributors, in industries such as automotive, energy, technology, and sports. He has worked in Berlin, Hamburg, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., giving him a transatlantic perspective on cross-border regulatory issues.
Dennis regularly writes and speaks on legal developments affecting the sports industry. He is a member of the German Antitrust Lawyers Association (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht e.V.).
