Concord Cheung represents clients before U.S. district courts and the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), particularly in complex intellectual property litigations involving patent infringement in the life sciences arena. Concord's litigation experience includes trial, fact and expert deposition, claim construction, motion practice, witness preparation, and pre-lawsuit analysis.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Concord litigated cases involving technologies such as DNA sequencing, multiplex PCR (polymerase chain reaction), spatial genomics, and CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats). He also gained experience with many areas of law while clerking at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Before practicing law, Concord spent more than nine years as a research and development scientist at major life sciences companies.
