Chiara Ciotti's practice focuses on banking and finance matters, particularly structured finance and debt capital markets and lending transactions.
Chiara advises Italian and foreign banks and financial institutions in structuring financial transactions, with a focus on securitizations transactions (including real estate asset securitizations), the sale and purchase of receivables, the drafting of related documentation, and lending transactions. She also assists clients in insolvency proceedings (such as bankruptcies, extraordinary administrations, composition with creditors, and restructuring agreements) and activities related to non-performing loans (NPLs) and unlikely to pay (UTP) loans, including due diligence activities. She offers ongoing legal advice and opinions, as well as credit collection services, from the out-of-court phase through to enforcement proceedings.
