Alex Calnon represents public and private companies in cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Alex has significant experience managing complex corporate transactions for domestic and international firms.

Alex has counseled clients on numerous transactions, including TopBuild's $1.0 billion acquisition of Specialty Products and Insulation, TreeHouse Foods' $2.9 billion go-private sale to Investindustrial, Hexagon AB's €2.7 billion divestiture of its Design & Engineering business to Cadence Design Systems, and Vintage Wine Estate's sale through chapter 11 bankruptcy. In addition, he advises clients with respect to monetization of clean energy tax credits introduced by the Inflation Reduction Act. Other companies with which Alex has worked on substantial matters include DataBank, Sonepar, and The Riverside Company.
