Luke Brooker's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with experience in class actions, consumer law disputes, and regulatory investigations.
Luke has acted for major corporations, financial institutions, and governments in high-stakes disputes in Australia and New Zealand. He has experience advising clients on New Zealand Commerce Commission regulatory investigations and Australian Competition and Consumer Commission acquisition assessments. His class action experience spans negligence, automotive, employment, and banking claims.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Luke was a solicitor in the commercial litigation team at a leading Australian and international law firm, after beginning his career at a leading New Zealand law firm. Before practising law, Luke served in the New Zealand Army as an infantry soldier.
