Lauren Browne maintains a general commercial disputes and arbitration practice. She has a great interest in resolving disputes in cross-border operations and working with her Jones Day colleagues around the world to achieve success for clients. Her practice focuses on high-value and complex disputes across a wide range of substantive areas, and she acts for clients in significant and high-pressure situations, particularly in the financial services, corporate, resources, and energy sectors.
Lauren has acted in matters commenced in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australian Supreme Courts, including Courts of Appeal, the Land Court, and the Federal Court of Australia, in addition to acting in matters in the National and Supreme Courts of Papua New Guinea.
Before joining Jones Day in 2026, she worked for several years in a top-tier commercial litigation and arbitration practice at a major Australian firm. Her experience spans the full cycle of legally complex and high-value disputes. She also served two judicial clerkships.
