Dr. Joshua Aird is a litigator and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) advisor with deep experience in commercial disputes, inquiries, regulatory investigations, administrative law proceedings, and ESG compliance.
Joshua has acted for clients in a number of high-profile matters, including class actions, commercial disputes, and inquiries. He has broad experience across industry sectors, including financial services, property and development, energy and resources, and government.
Joshua advises on all aspects of ESG issues with a particular focus on business and human rights, anti-bribery and corruption, and sanctions compliance. Joshua has conducted numerous investigations for clients following allegations of adverse human rights impacts in their operations and supply chains.
Joshua has a Ph.D. in constitutional law and human rights from the University of New South Wales and regularly teaches constitutional, public, and administrative law courses at universities throughout New South Wales.
