Micah Doak's practice encompasses a full range of labor and employment law matters arising under federal and state laws and regulations. Micah's practice focuses on wage and hour, discrimination, restrictive covenants, and traditional labor law. She also has a substantial whistleblower practice, having obtained numerous dismissals of Federal Railroad Safety Act (FRSA) complaints filed in administrative agencies and federal court. In addition, Micah advises clients regarding labor and employment issues that arise in mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.

Micah also maintains an active pro bono practice. Her experience includes representing women and children seeking asylum in Immigration Court. As a volunteer prosecutor for the City of Houston, Micah first-chaired half a dozen jury trials. She is also an active participant in Pathways to Law, a program through which Jones Day attorneys teach law-related courses to eighth graders at Pilgrim Academy, a low-income school in Houston, Texas. Before joining Jones Day, Micah taught high school humanities and special education in Boston through Teach For America.
