Jolena Zabel represents corporations and individuals in high-stakes complex civil and criminal litigation, enforcement actions, and investigations. Her recent litigation and investigative experience includes claims involving professional liability, business torts and contract disputes, antitrust, state labor laws, the False Claims Act (FCA), the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and the federal Controlled Substances Act (CSA).

Jolena has represented clients in the health care, pharmaceutical, retail, and financial industries. She is experienced in all aspects of litigation and investigations, including fact investigation, witness interviews, drafting and responding to discovery, e-discovery, depositions, expert witnesses, motions practice, and trial.

As part of her active pro bono practice, Jolena represents clients in immigration proceedings, including successfully obtaining bond and habeas relief for detained immigrants.

Jolena previously served as a judicial law clerk at the Minnesota Supreme Court. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jolena worked at an international nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C.
