Chantal Wynter-Jackson joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2025. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Before joining Jones Day, Chantal spent approximately 15 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs, including nearly a decade in a supervisory position. In this role, she managed complex, large‑scale data sets, carried out internal investigations, conducted comprehensive quality reviews to ensure consistency and compliance, and oversaw teams responsible for analyzing, processing, and validating high‑volume information. Her work required advanced problem‑solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to translate data‑driven insights into actionable results and meaningful operational improvements.
During law school, Chantal earned a Legal Analytics and Innovation Certificate with a focus on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI. Through this concentration, she developed advanced skills in prompt engineering, data analysis, and the evaluation and implementation of AI‑enabled tools. Her training provides her with a sophisticated understanding of how technology, automation, and analytical systems can enhance legal workflows, improve decision‑making, and support efficient, high‑quality work across a variety of matters.
