Alessio Silvestro is a tax dispute resolution and litigation lawyer practising in a wide range of federal and state tax matters. Alessio has experience assisting clients with complex, high-value disputes with the Australian Taxation Office and state revenue offices in tax reviews, audits, objections, and litigation spanning income tax, international tax, and employment taxes, including superannuation and payroll tax.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Alessio worked in a top-tier law firm and at the Australian Taxation Office where he provided technical advice and litigation support on various advisory and litigious engagements including in matters heard in Australian courts and the Administrative Review Tribunal.
