Kathleen Ryan joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2025. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Kathleen served as a judicial law clerk to Judge John Robert Blakey on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Before law school, Kathleen taught middle school English and literature in Oklahoma City through the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) as an AmeriCorps member.
