Théo Piazza's practice focuses on all aspects of French and international taxation, including transactional matters, capital markets, and litigation.
Théo advises companies, investment funds, and banking or financial institutions regarding the domestic or cross-border structuring of their M&A, private equity, and real estate transactions. He has experience in the fields of financial and derivative instruments as well as in litigation before tax authorities and French or international courts. Théo also works on venture capital financings, equity incentive schemes, and management packages.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Théo completed an internship at a major French law firm and worked for more than two years in the financial services department of an international tax law firm.
