Andrew McGirty focuses on corporate and regulatory work within the Health Care & Life Sciences Practice. He assists with hospital system M&A transactions, affiliations, and joint ventures as well as with all aspects of clinically integrated networks and accountable care organizations. Andrew advises clients on intricate regulatory issues, including corporate practice of medicine, digital health, change of ownership requirements, the 340B Drug Pricing Program, tax exemption, and compliance with HIPAA (safeguarding patient information), Stark Law (Physician Self-Referral Law), Anti-Kickback Statute, and Civil Monetary Penalties Law.

Andrew also has experience in emerging Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation Models, including the Advancing Chronic Care with Effective, Scalable Solution (ACCESS) Model, the Long-term Enhanced ACO Design (LEAD) Model, and the Technology-Enabled Meaningful Patient Outcomes (TEMPO) for Digital Health Devices Pilot.
