Brett Lingle litigates complex cases in state and federal courts. He has particular experience in environmental matters, products liability, and appeals. He also advises clients on emerging regulatory issues, including compliance with extended producer responsibility (EPR) laws.

Before rejoining Jones Day in 2026, Brett served as a law clerk to Judge Richard C. Tallman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Brett maintains an active pro bono practice, providing counsel to nonprofit organizations and representing tenants in disputes with their landlords through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.

Prior to law school, Brett worked as a policy analyst and researcher for organizations focused on mitigating the effects of natural disasters.
