Nichola Foley advises clients on a wide range of international banking and finance transactions. With a particular focus on fund finance, Nichola has extensive experience across the full spectrum of fund financing products, including subscription lines, NAV (net asset value), GP (general partner), and hybrid facilities.
Her work also encompasses leveraged and acquisition finance, trade and asset finance, aviation and project finance, as well as private placements, insolvency, restructurings, and workouts.
Nichola acts for sponsors and their portfolio companies, borrowers, and major corporates, as well as senior and mezzanine lenders, international banks, non-bank direct lenders, hedge funds, private equity firms, institutional investors, corporate trustees, and other financial institutions.
Before joining Jones Day in 2026, Nichola was a partner at a global law firm. She has substantial experience in cross-border and multijurisdictional financings across Europe, Central Asia, Asia, North America, and the Middle East and has advised clients in sectors including retail, energy, entertainment, infrastructure, hospitality, aviation, shipping, automotive, and health care.
