Joe Ferari represents clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. He has experience at all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery and fact-finding, deposition preparation, and motions practice.
Recently, Joe has been part of teams defending a private equity firm against antitrust claims, a global steel manufacturer against trade secret claims, and a product manufacturer in a mass tort action.
Joe maintains an active pro bono practice. He has successfully represented pro se litigants in the mediation and settlement of civil rights claims against local governments and assisted a client seeking habeas relief in federal court. Prior to joining Jones Day, Joe served as a law clerk for Judge Aileen M. Cannon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
