Ellen Dorsten represents companies, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors in commercial lending transactions. She has led complex, innovative engagements across diverse sectors ranging from fintech and telecommunications to hospitality and apparel. Ellen has experience with a variety of capital arrangements and transaction structures including cross-border facilities, acquisition and project financings, workouts and restructurings, private placement offerings, structured finance, and securitizations.

Ellen has worked on substantial matters for financial institution clients including PNC Bank and KeyBank; public companies such as STERIS, Hyster-Yale, and Avient Corporation; and private equity sponsors including American Industrial Partners and The Riverside Company.

Prior to rejoining Jones Day in 2022, Ellen held in-house counsel roles at a multinational bank and at a venture-backed financial technology start-up.
