Elijah Coryell represents clients in complex disputes in state and federal courts and in domestic arbitrations. He also assists clients with cybersecurity readiness, incident response, internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement actions.
Elijah has been a member of teams defending a large health care system against a data breach class action, a financial institution against a consumer class action, a steel manufacturer against a complex contractual claim, and other clients across varied industries and disputes. As part of his pro bono practice, Elijah assists incarcerated or formerly incarcerated pro se plaintiffs pursue their civil rights claims against state governments.
While in law school, Elijah handled dozens of misdemeanor trials and other criminal proceedings for the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office in Madison County, Virginia, as a member of the University of Virginia's Prosecution Clinic. Before law school, he sold advisory services for a Pittsburgh-based business consultancy.
