Ethan Beck focuses his practice on appellate litigation and on providing strategic counsel to clients confronting complex legal and regulatory challenges.
Ethan has represented clients at all levels of the federal judiciary, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He has played a central role in drafting appellate briefs and critical motions addressing an array of constitutional, statutory, and administrative law topics. His work often involves federal regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
Ethan also maintains an active pro bono practice. Recently, he assisted a client secure a favorable settlement with the Internal Revenue Service that successfully resolved the client's Seventh Circuit appeal.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Ethan served as a judicial law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and on the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
