David Kenneth Suska briefs and argues appeals and critical motions. His goal is to develop winning legal strategies and to make complex issues simple for the court. He has represented individuals and businesses, including a U.S. Senator and some of the world's leading energy, entertainment, life sciences, and technology companies. His practice is wide ranging, with particular experience in administrative law, constitutional law, class actions, and federal jurisdiction.

David regularly leads briefing teams in complex matters. He has briefed cases at every level of the judiciary, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He has presented oral argument in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Seventh, and Ninth Circuits; in federal district courts; and in state courts.

David frequently draws on his experience in government. He clerked for Justice Neil M. Gorsuch of the Supreme Court and Judge Frank H. Easterbrook of the Seventh Circuit. He also served as an Attorney-Adviser in the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). In that role, David reviewed executive orders for form and legality, analyzed pending legislation for constitutional concerns, and advised the White House and Attorney General on legal issues related to national security, appropriations, trade and sanctions, and congressional oversight. For his work at DOJ, David received the Attorney General's Distinguished Service Award. David began his career at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he prepared strategic assessments for the President and other senior officials. For his work at CIA, David received the Sherman Kent Leadership Award.
