David Ferrell joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2024. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.

David received the Leslie Zines Constitutional Law Scholarship (2022) and worked as a law clerk with the Office of General Counsel at the Australian Government Solicitor for one year (2023) while completing his undergraduate studies. David has also written book reviews for The Canberra Times and the Australian Book Review during his undergraduate studies.
