Alexis Zhang focuses on appeals and motions practice. She has drafted briefs filed at all levels of the federal courts and has successfully argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Before rejoining Jones Day in 2025, Alexis served as a law clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas of the United States Supreme Court. She also has served as a law clerk to Judge Gregory G. Katsas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and Chief Judge William H. Pryor Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
