Maguire Tausch is a litigator who focuses his growing practice on defending and advising employers in complex labor and employment matters.
Maguire's experience includes litigation before state and federal courts, spanning all phases of discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. He represents employers across a range of industries, including the railroad industry, and has experience conducting high-stakes internal investigations, advising employers on employment and human resources policies, and assisting clients with traditional labor matters.
In addition to his labor and employment practice, Maguire has served on pro bono trial teams representing clients in federal habeas proceedings and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals. He also has partnered with the Georgia Justice Project and the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence to provide pro bono legal services.
Prior to law school, Maguire served as judicial secretary to then-Administrative and Presiding Judge Brendan J. Sheehan of the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court (2021-2022), where he helped launch one of the nation's first court-supervised violence intervention programs with Judge Sheehan and the U.S. Department of Justice to reduce gun violence in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
