Olivier Haas possède une expérience significative en matière de nouvelles technologies et de propriété intellectuelle. Depuis près de 15 ans, il conseille les entreprises françaises et internationales – des startups jusqu’aux groupes internationaux de sociétés – en relation avec leurs projets en matière de nouvelles technologies et de contenus numériques.

Son activité couvre notamment l’accompagnement juridique en matière de projets informatiques, Internet, e-commerce et protection des données. Olivier Haas conseille les sociétés françaises et internationales tant sur leurs contrats informatiques, cloud computing et projets Internet, que sur leurs projets d'externalisation, stratégies de protection des données et questions de cybersécurité. Il est régulièrement en charge des négociations sur des projets d’externalisation de moyens informatiques ou de processus métier, projets de migration informatique vers des environnements de cloud computing, ainsi que pour la mise en place de plateformes de services mutualisées. Olivier Haas intervient également sur l'ensemble des problématiques relatives à la protection des données personnelles.

Olivier Haas possède un profil unique car, outre sa formation d’avocat, il est titulaire d’un diplôme d’ingénieur (Ecole Nationale de Techniques Avancées) et d’un Master of Engineering in Space Systems de l’Université du Michigan, Etats-Unis. Il a travaillé dans l’industrie aérospatiale avant de devenir avocat et a exercé au sein de grands cabinets internationaux avant de rejoindre Jones Day.

Olivier Haas est membre de l’association Cyberlex et participe également aux travaux des associations ITechLaw et IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals).
