Sarah Efronson has defended corporations and their directors and officers in civil, criminal, and regulatory disputes for more than a decade. Her practice is focused on securities litigation, shareholder disputes, complex commercial litigation, and financial products litigation. Sarah also has significant experience conducting internal investigations and representing clients in regulatory and enforcement matters including before the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

Some of Sarah's recent representations include defending federal securities fraud class action lawsuits against a large pharmaceutical company, financial institution, and the former officer of a global IT company. Her experience covers all stages of the litigation process, from inception of an action through discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal.

Sarah maintains an active pro bono practice. She has represented clients in immigration, housing, and family court proceedings. In both 2015 and 2017, she received a Pro Bono Publico Award from The Legal Aid Society. Sarah recently won asylum for a Venezuelan client following trial.

Prior to attending law school, Sarah taught at a middle school in Miami as a Teach For America corps member.
