Matthew Wu's practice focuses on domestic and cross-border acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs, corporate restructurings, and other strategic transactions. He also has experience in general corporate law matters.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2024, Matthew completed traineeships with a boutique M&A law firm and with the legal department of an international financial services company.
During his studies, Matthew participated in several legal clinics, including UC Law San Francisco's Startup Legal Garage, where he advised early-stage start-ups under the supervision of lawyers from leading law firms in the Bay Area.
