Roberto Torres es un abogado líder en derecho ambiental, regulatorio y energético en México. Durante los últimos 25 años, su práctica se ha enfocado en energía limpia, bienes raíces, infraestructura, manufactura y turismo, asesorando a sus clientes a lo largo del ciclo completo de transacciones complejas —desde estrategia regulatoria y obtención de permisos hasta due diligence, adquisición, desarrollo y operación.

Roberto cuenta con amplia experiencia en due diligence en aspectos ambientales, regulatorios y administrativos de fusiones y adquisiciones, financiamiento de proyectos, reestructuras corporativas, adquisiciones públicas y privadas, y compraventa de activos y acciones en múltiples jurisdicciones.

Su experiencia transaccional abarca diversas industrias, incluyendo energía renovable (solar fotovoltaica, eólica y biogás), gestión de agua y residuos, centros de datos, alimentos y bebidas, aeronáutica, hotelería y manufactura industrial. Sus clientes valoran su "gran capacidad para analizar y sintetizar problemas complejos, brindando soluciones prácticas y razonables," y confían en él para obtener asesoría oportuna y asertiva en sus transacciones más complejas.

También tiene experiencia en materia regulatoria, sanitaria y administrativa; tramitación y gestión de permisos, licencias y concesiones; así como en procedimientos y litigios administrativos ante autoridades federales y locales.

Roberto es Comisionado en la Comisión de Sustentabilidad de CAMESCOM y Vicecoordinador del Comité de Derecho Ambiental de la Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa (ANADE). Es también profesor de derecho ambiental en la Escuela Libre de Derecho, donde ha impartido cátedra durante los últimos diez años.
