Roberto Torres es uno de los principales expertos en medio ambiente de México. Durante los últimos 22 años su práctica se ha centrado en proyectos de energía limpia, bienes raíces, infraestructura, manufactura y turismo.

Roberto cuenta con amplia experiencia en la realización de due diligence en aspectos de derecho ambiental y administrativo de fusiones y adquisiciones, proyectos de financiamiento, reestructuraciones corporativas, adquisiciones públicas y privadas, y operaciones de compra de activos y acciones.

También tiene experiencia en asuntos regulatorios, sanitarios y administrativos; tramitación y administración de permisos, licencias y concesiones; procedimientos administrativos ante autoridades federales y locales; y redacción de reglamentos ambientales federales y locales.

Roberto es abogado rankeado en el área de medio ambiente por Chambers y The Legal 500.

Desde 2016 es profesor de la asignatura de Derecho Ambiental y Derecho del Agua en la Escuela Libre de Derecho.

De igual forma, es Vicecoordinador del Comité de Dereco Ambiental de la Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa (ANADE).
