Patrick Stafford co-chairs Jones Day's global Private Equity Practice. He advises companies and financial investors on the full range of cross-border M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions. These include distressed debt and equity deals, add on transactions, hybrid investments, public market-related disposals, restructuring, joint ventures, disposals to trade and institutional investors, and special situations transactions.
Patrick has advised a range of financial investors such as Alven Capital, Cortec Group, Goldman Sachs, Index Ventures, Motion Equity Partners, The Riverside Company, True Capital, and WL Ross. Recent transactions include advising Goldman Sachs on its investment in Nuxeo and advising management on the sale by Varde Partners of Newday Cards to Cinven and CVC Capital Partners.
